Frédéric Daty
Sculpture, Installation

Frédéric Daty is a visual artist working primarily with steel, approaching it as a material that is both resistant and fragile. Through cutting, assembling, and structuring forms, he creates works in which void plays a central role. His practice revolves around transformation: how an image—whether drawn from architecture, landscape, or iconic figures—can become structure, and then experience. His forms oscillate between appearance and disappearance, balance and instability. Through sculptures and installations, he engages the viewer’s body, inviting them to move through, inhabit, and experience the work from within.
You can find his work in galleries (Paris: Artsymbol, London: Castle Fine Art, Hamburg: Arte Gallery, Los Angeles: Mash Gallery, etc.) or online ( saatchiart, singulart ).
