Andrea Maver was born in Bologna, Italy, in 1968.

From his young age, he discovered his passion for art and architecture.

He chose to study architecture at university in Venice, where he obtained his diplmoma in 1997, specializing in renovation and restoration.

This type of study, along with his stay in Venice, strongly influenced his growing appreciation for art, which led to his first artistic creations.

This artistic activity, pursued alongside his architectural practice, has remained a constant in his life over the years, becoming a full-time occupation.

His artistic vision is deeply inspired by and influenced by images of aged, patinated, and faulty surfaces, and in general transformed by the passage of time. These surfaces can be interiors or exteriors, belonging to luxury and important buildings or simple and ordinary ones, but what matters is the effect of transmitting and communicating a memory and the passage of time, imprinted on the surfaces.
