Initially trained in Art History at the École du Louvre, Dominique Humbert pursued further studies at the Fine Arts Academy of Hanoi and in Hue under a master lacquerer before establishing her own studio in 2011.

She worked independently for private collectors before collaborating on decorative projects for decorative painting workshops. Since then, she has regularly worked on a wide variety of projects, including luxury hotels and private residences.

My lacquers transform color and light into a sensitive material. Between darkness and flashes of color, I offer dreamlike landscapes that invite us to look at the beauty of the infinitesimal.
