Francesco Romano
Peinture, Sculpture, Dessin
Détail de "Bluewomen", , Acrylique et résine sur toile, 70x50, 2024, Paris
Francesco Romano Arts was born in Syracuse, Sicily (Italy) where the sea, the sun, history forged his spirit and his artistic sensitivity.
Born in a family of artists, he began an artistic production at a young age as a self-taught person.
He moved to France in 2002, where he perfected his technique by following training at the Ateliers des Beaux Arts in Paris.
Today his artistic production – where painting and sculpture tend to meet themselves in order to form a composition made of volume (mainly bas-reliefs) and colors – represents the sensuality, the sinuosity and the sexual tension induced by the female body.
His creations take place in a passionate dreamlike world influenced by “Arts Nouveau” artists like Klimt, Mucha or “Art Deco” like De Lempicka. They are made up of a mixture of mediums with a constant such as resin: after a timid discovery of this technique, Francesco Romano now defines himself as an “Artist of resin”.
He lives in Paris where he produces and exhibits his works.
